What is eco-tourism
"Ecotourism is the responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people." (TIES) What this means is that ecotourism is a way of traveling and visiting natural places around the earth with respect that are been conserved and protected by humans. The big idea of ecotourism is to have a conservation on natural and diverse places around the earth, help communities to fight against poverty and having appreciation of earths nature and culture. The importance of ecotourism places is that they are still not contaminated or polluted and are very pleasant for admiring and enjoying the natural world.The idea of eco-tourism

The main ideas of ecotourism, acording to the international ecotourism society, is to minimize the impact on the natural areas around the earth and to avoid damage on this unique places. People should build an idea on awareness and respect to this areas. Provide conservation, financial benefits and experiences on both visitors and hosts. Also, to raise sensitivity to the environment.

Not only the exotic wild life and innovated forest makes kerala so famous, its culture and historical festival makes people be more attracted. Why is it famous
The everglades is not just known as a touristic place, but also, it is a home for thousands of diverse species for example, aquatic animals, birds, land animals, insects and a huge verity of plants and trees. The most attractive and notable animals on the everglades are the aligator, the american crocodile, the manatee and the tree frog. One of the most symbolic animals seen in the everglades is the florida panther, which is a huge attraction for many people. It is known as one of the oldest ecotouristical places in the united states and has an excellent tropical climate, not only for the animals, but for the tourist as well. This beautiful national park is well known for its swamps and forest wetlands. Mosquitos play an important role in this natural park food chain and have a huge impact on one of the worlds most famous types of fishes, the native fish of the everglades.
Tourism
The everglades is not just a preserve area for different animal species, but it is one of the most famous places to visit in florida united states. What actually bring huge amount of visitors to this national park is the airboat attraction. The airboat attraction is an experience that has to be taken by ecotourist around the world, and it is a perfect way to observe and appreciate the natural world and the amazing geographical features around us. Taking a 2 hour ride around the park brings an amazing experience and viewing of the diverse species in the park.Getting to be really close to an american crocodile and experiencing a trip around the everglades beautiful swamps is what makes this innovated park be so attractive as it is today.

Costa rica, located in the south easter part of central america, has been a wonderful and attractive place for ecotourism. Costa rica has always been an innovated place to visit because of its beaches and amazing culture, but its geographical features and its ecosystem around it, is what makes this place so unique! The huge amount of species and creatures that live in the forrest of costa rica is incredible, different types of monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and frogs cover most of costa rica ecosystem.
Why is it famous
Costa rica is known for having a huge biodiversity and a beautiful wildlife refuges. On this ecosystem we can find a huge forest, black sand beaches, rivers and much more activities for tourists. The Poas volcano crater, is one of costa rica's most important tourist attraction. There, we can find a huge verity of plants and around 80 different species of birds, like the tucan, which has been a very important symbol for costa rica, and the red eye tree frog, which is also a frog known world wide for its unique red eyes and big orange hands. For years, costa rica has been a very important and extraordinary place for many kinds of tourist and people who have huge appreciation on earths nature and culture.

For the lovers of nature and archeology, lacandon jungle in mexico is the perfect place to visit. The lacandon jungle, is located in southern mexico, from Chiapas to the country of Guatemala. This place is filled with lots of nature wonders and lots of biodiversity which makes this rainforest, the biggest and the most beautiful forest in north america. This amazing natural place is known for its huge population of different species, its amazing waterfalls and its innovated rivers. The verity of birds and jaguars is what makes lacandon jungle so unique and special.

Why is it famous
Lacandon jungle is the largest rainforest in north america, and it is well known for the "montes azules" of blue mountains. This mexican jungle contains 1300 tree species, 33% of mexican bird species, 25% of all mexican animals and 10% of mexican fishes (Gomez). This jungles contains many archeological sites for example Palenque and Bonanpak, where thousands of people come and visit the mayan archeological objects. It has an established protection for Scarlet Macaw, or guacamayas. Not only that, but jaguars are also an important and symbolic animal for the Lacandon jungle, and it is also the reason that this rainforest is so unique.
Tourism
What brings a lot of tourism to the Lacandon jungle, are the amazing archeological sites, where lots of archeologist can view where the mayans and the aztecs tribe developed. Rafting and swimming in the Rio Lacanja, is also a huge entertainment on the Lacandon jungle. What really is special about this place, is how the nature and the huge verity of species are been protected, thousands of different trees and thousands of different animals are been protected and care on this amazing jungle forest.

Wolin, or Wolinski, is an island located in northern poland surrounded by the Baltic sea. Besides been a touristic park, it is also a home for thousands of species and nice geographical features. Wolinski national park is known for the large and clean beaches, also its cliffs having an extraordinary view to the baltic sea, and its forest that contains tons of animals and has a huge diversity of species.
Why is it famous
Wolinski national park contains a rich historic settlement which is important for tourist attraction. Not only because it is sorrounded by the baltic sea, but also, Wolin park contains lots of rivers and lakes that are very unique in this areas. The delta of Swina river, is the most important river in this place, and although of containing lots of water animals in is a huge tourist attraction to have a ride around the wolinski national park through the river. Most of wolin lakes are located at the east of the park. One of the most important lakes is the horseshoe- shaped lake known as Czajcze and lake Turquoise, and it is known for its light water color. Wolinski national park is famous for having a rich fauna. Wolin contain about 230 bird species and around 100 water species. This park is not only a tourist place, but an important habitat for lots of animals. Wolinski national park is known for having the most amount of insects in its forest and it is contains the famous polish beetle. This park is well known for preserving lots of animal habitats and the clean beaches.

Kakum, is suffering for a lot of animal extinction and land loss over the past years. This forest covers over 350 km2 and a huge verity of species. Thousands of people have been taking this territory for timber and agricultural expansion. Lots of this beautiful animals found in this forest has lost their homes, meaning that at any moment most of this animals would disappear in and instant.

Kakum contains a huge diversity of animals, like any other rain forest, many animals found in this land are wild species. This forest is covered by 40 diferent mamal species and over 2000 diferent bird species! Kakum is also known by the large number of amphibeans it has an its huge verity of butterflies. Kakum is also known for its huge trees, each of this trees is around 65m tall!

Their are many rain forest in the world that area not considered good places for visiting, but Kakum, is a great place to visit. There are many places and historical settlements in this area that are visited by many tourist during the year. For example, the Elmina castle and the Cape Coast Castle. The masquerading festival, is a festival that is celebrated the first of January every year in this area of Ghana. Many peoeple around the world come and visit this place to see this beautiful and unique celebration like this one and experience other cultures. Hiking, camping, bird viewing are some innovated activities available in the territory of Kakum Ghana. Bird viewing is amazing, having the opportunity to observe over 2000 different species of birds is a unique activity. Kakum, ghana is a special place to visit, even though it is a place that is been destroyed little by little, people should take care of it and preserve all of the amazing types of things it contains.
